Production Code - Revised 1/2012

Well, it's been two years since I've launched this blog and so much has changed.  In 2010, I watched and wrote reviews for 100 films.  Then in 2011, I attempted to keep the blog going, but had a separate list of goals to accomplish that year.  I also traveled quite a bit and then fought through a few months of illness.  Sadly, my little film blog was lost in the shuffle.

Although life got away from me and the site's been untouched for a few months, the passion hasn't died.  In fact, 2011 held many great classic movie memories, including TCM Scene It Trivia nights with some newfound classic film fan friends and my own foray into writing (I participated in National Novel Writing Month and decided to do a memoir-style novel wherein various scenes from the main character's life were replayed as if they were different classic films).  Most importantly, I booked my ticket for the Turner Classic Movies Classic Film Festival in April 2012!  I'll be in Los Angeles taking in the sights, going to panels, watching great films and hanging out with fellow enthusiasts!

So here's what I propose for 2012:

1) One post per week that is more than just a casual review.
2) Read other classic film blogs.  I got out of this habit in 2011 and want to get back to it.
3) Prepare for a wonderful trip to LA!

If you ever have questions about a film or would like to comment, please don't hesitate.  I only ask that you be considerate and respectful in your posts.  And any time you want a movie recommendation, feel free to ask!

Enjoy the blog!
